Looking back to the workshop of Anna Gradin and Katharina

We are very happy that we got this opportunity to do our 6th Bibliodrama online with EBO. Some participants have been almost in all of them! That´s really nice and give us inspiration to go on. Three were new in our group.
We were nine all together from six countries! And seven were educated in bibliodrama!!!
This opportunity (EBO) give the workshop a mix of people not easy to do by yourself.
It was the 2d February between 9- 4(pm) and a break for lunch and individually work.
Two persons wanted to join the half time, but we said no... the whole process is important.
We got good response for our free and accepting atmosphere and for our warmup and the intervenes.
A few days before we sent information and the agreements for the workshop. That help us to make a safe room when we meet. One agreement is that ”We doing this experiment together and all are co-creators.” We felt it in this group-We did it together.
We hope you will go on planning EBO, it means much for Bibliodrama in Europe and many participants come again and again.
Thank you so much!

A presentation after the interfaith workshop of Jes and Erdem

We explored the story of Kain and Abel , Qabil and Habil in Bible and Quran. We explored the meaning of envy and jealousy, we organized a meeting between Abel and Kain before the killing and a meeting between possible Kain, Abel, Qabil and Habil looking back after the events from heaven...
We made a "mark" as the Kain mark for ourselves to remember the challenge of looking for peace and working towards it.

Workshop of Dirk and Maria-Joanna Peace and Healing Process

This Bibliodrama workshop invited us to look inside us and to be vulnerable. To find a person or a situation in our lives that needs healing and forgiveness, and to pursue this path through the Word of the Scripture. It was a slow, careful and almost meditative process, where we encountered our inner being and the hurt existing in it. Then we exposed it to the Light of Jesus's own words as recounted in the Gospel. The Bible text we worked with was Luke 22:49-51. We employed silence, used bodily movements, as well as our creativity (through drawing and painting) to explore the wound. Then the word came in its completeness and power to put a bandage and salvation on this pain. But this healing could not happen without our being prepared to enter into our inner space and not flee from it. Therefore the facilitators gave us a lot of gaps in the Bibliodrama process, the pace was slow and presence was important. In those gaps the pain was revealed but also the cure. Towards the end of the workshop we got a chance to respond to each other's pictures of the inner processes we painted. The mutual and interactive responses of others about our picture formed in turn a basis for a poem that each of us wrote about the path we had traversed.

Personally, it was a sensible and curative process for me.  I have been suffering for a while under a traumatic experience and was in the process of digesting it all when the Bibliodrama workshop took place. I can say that for me it was a restorative experience that contributed to my complete healing and slow entering into a new phase of life. The interactive poem we got to write at the end of the workshop reaffirmed my will to live and my hope in God. I higly recommend Dirk Harms's Bibliodrama method. It was life-affirming, vulnerable, curative and present at the same time. It resonated with how I experience my inner life as well as the Word of God. It is Bibliodrama at its best!

Historical first Russian Online Bibliodrama Workshop by Jola and Vilhelmina

Picture
Perhaps the date 15 February 2025 is a historic day, when the first bibliodrama workshop conducted in Russian took place.
The leaders were Jola Tyszko from Poland/Switzerland and Vilhelmina Raubaite Mikelioniene from Lithuania.
The workshop was delivered as part of European Bibliodrama Online, Edition VI, which I initiated in 2020.
For several years, the aim of the Bibliodrama Academy has been to connect with people east of Poland who would like to learn about the bibliodrama method.
If not for the war, the bibliodrama training in Krzyżowa (2023/2024) would have been attended by people from Ukraine.
We hope that our desire to realise actions for the development of the integral human being will be part of the co-creation of a credible dialogue for peace.
This is what Jola Tyszko wrote about the workshop:
‘On 15 February, the first online bibliodrama was held in Russian as part of EBO VI. The participants were Russian speakers, although this language was not necessarily their mother tongue. For example, there were participants from Latvia, Finland or Hungary.
Together we considered the text from the Gospel according to St. John: 20, 19-30.
This passage refers to the moment after the Resurrection when the Lord comes to the Apostles and proclaims three times ‘Peace be with you’ and, breathing the Spirit upon them, sends them out on mission.
The experience of this group leads me to believe that we are not only pilgrims of hope, but also those who make peace.’
