In today's world,
we need places where people of peace can meet, whatever spiritual background they belong to... To explore to exchange to be together: in silence in movement and song in listening and hearing in giving and receiving... To allow renewed visions of peace to grow... That was the plan and still is. The course was cancelled. But the dream is still there. We have a program to offer. You can invite us: the team of Het Leerke Belgium with extra leaders. If this seems an interesting project and you want to engage us for doing it in your country.

What is the plan?
We gather people from different countries and faiths, using creative tools like bibliodrama, art, and movemen to connect, share, and grow together.Around the Tree of Life, we bring our own spiritual gifts: a song, a dance, a prayer, a gesture, a story… Each voice is welcome. Join us in this adventure to meet, to move, and to share our wisdom and hope. For whom? For anyone interested in meeting each other through playful bibliodrama. No experience needed, just curiosity and a desire to connect. All faiths are welcome. Basic English will be our shared language. Translation into Dutch, German, and French is possible. |

It was our dream (Anja Stieghorst(D) and Jes Bouwen(B)) to set up an International, interfaith course with experiencing and exploring creative and playful bibliodrama methods in an interfaith and culturally diverse setting, inspired by Bible & Quran.We wanted to create a setting for meeting each other in an open atmosphere and with open hart. Not as experts but as searching, curious people who just want to get to know each other. We believed that the methods of bibliodrama could be a splendid way to do this.
We were able to seduce 1O participants to enter the experiment: 6 women and 4 men, from Germany, Flanders, Sweden, the Netherlands and Finland. Muslims, Protestants, Catholics and seekers.... Some were getting acquainted with bibliodrama for the first time, others were experienced facilitators. But they all shared the same dream: to meet and get to know other people from diverse backgrounds using bibliodrama. This was enough for an intensely enriching experience. |

Special Course: Exodus to Björkö/Finland: March 2023

The Finnish and Belgian Bibliodrama people were happy to coöperate in a special course.
Leaders are Agnes Bouwen, bibliodrama trainer, and Gert Boeckx, drama teacher and contactclown. We explored mime, non-verbal bibliodrama methods and creative ways of exchange in the wonderful Worldheritage scene of Björkö.
